"What are some of the basic things I should do before listing my house for sale?"

As you know the market has changed drastically and now Condition AND Price are both very important.

1. Before listing your home for sale go throught all the items you do not plan on taking with you. Have a yard sale. Place items on Craigslist and Ebay.

2. CLean, Clean, Clean, First impressions count! They may also be the ONLY impression you get to make so make it your best! Wash floors/walls/ceilings! YES , even ceilings! Get those cob webs out! I know in some cultures cob webs are GOOD LUCK! BUT in general the perception is not the same.

3. Once your home is "Decluttered" and clean. Let's start "Staging"

Staging is a way to place furnishings and accent pieces in a very welcoming way. Some fen shui and basic common sense and a little fashion flair and we will have your home looking like a palace!
